Hello, everyone!

Hello, everyone!
Here is my video ---Introducing honorific verbs and reviewing some Chinese characters. I changed Japanese characters on the PPT to English so everyone can see what's going on.

Sadly, I already found some English errors in my speech as I haven't taught Japanese in English for a long time.... Also, I found out I didn't use my external microphone because Zoom automatically changed it to the default one. I must be careful next time.

Nevertheless, it was a great learning experience! I look forward to seeing everyone's video, too.

  1. I didn't notice any English errors. I was too busy trying to learn Japanese! I think teachers are our own worst critics. I like the way you showed your "student" how to access the drawing tools and use them. I think they were perfect for that activity. I also like very much that through the vocabulary activity at the end, the student could see the intrinsic value of learning the kanji. Sometimes memorizing kanji can get really tiring without that kind of motivation from a teacher. Thanks for sharing your lesson!

  2. Yuko-san, I made mistakes in English as well. No worries, we're mates in this way... 😅, aye?

Looking forward to your next session! 😀
