  1. We'd be happy to get feedback from anyone who has a few minutes free to take a look. :)

  2. This is brilliant, really! What a fabulous lesson. Great use of visuals, very practical English, fantastic use of annotation and doodle tools and two smiling ladies at the end.

  3. Great! You both seem so natural in front of the camera. ;-) I didn't realise the tools you used existed! Thanks for teaching me something new about zoom!

  4. Heike Philp Annotation and doodles are in the tab/bar is included in the zoom platform with your registered account (free), there we found shapes, arrows, pointers and is so much fun when you use them in synchronous communication. The slides were made in powerpoint.

  5. Anne Hendler Carolina Rodriguez Kudos for a clever way of handling the tech issue with the sound of the sound file. You found a solution. FYI If you checkmark the 'share system sound' button (I have it in German and do not know exactly the correct wording) you can share an audio file without having to unplug the earphones and have the student listen to the speakers. screencast.com - Share system sound

  6. Heike Philp Carolina Rodriguez Thank you for the tip! I'll go back through the zoom settings and try to find it.

  7. Heike Philp Lisa Wood Thank you for the feedback. This assignment was a lot of fun. I'm sure there are even more tools available in Zoom that we still haven't found. For bigger groups, there are "breakout rooms" for small-group discussion. Those looked cool and I would've like to try to see how they work. Another fun little tool I found in the Preferences is "touch up my appearance". I don't mind how I look on camera or off, but it's fun to play with that stuff. I'm looking forward to seeing the ways other people use Zoom!
